Dear Academy Dog Training Team: On behalf of Niko, my daughter Renee and I would like to extend our deepest and sincerest appreciation for your training program. Niko is a handful, but your patience and expertise have given him the foundation to be an obedient and well-trained GSD. I just have to remember that he's still a puppy with a lot more growing to do.😂 Special thanks to Jason, Sarah, and Marshall who are expert trainers and handlers and a team that we will highly recommend. I especially appreciate your willingness to work with my schedule and the concern you showed when Niko was absent due to a temporary illness. Haywood let me know that if we could not get Niko to our vet, to let him know right away. That was special. We also liked the family atmosphere and hope to visit again. We put a new rescue into daycare training after he developed some leash reactivity we couldn’t fix ourselves. The entire crew at Academy is terrific- each of them know dogs and know how to train them. Our reactive mutt still isn’t perfect but he’s light years ahead of where he was when we started. If you have a dog, with it without a problem, give Academy a try. Our initial consult w Jason took an hour- way more time (and way more thorough) than any place we talked to. Bohdi is now in group lessons and doing great. Three months ago, I would have said NEVER will he be able to handle group lessons with multiple dogs. Well, thanks to academy, he doesn’t just “handle” the group lessons, he loves them.

My dog had been attacked by another dog, and he became very dog aggressive and fearful after that. Academy completely gave him and me our confidence back as individuals and a duo. My dog has made many new friends and has learned how to fully think through a scary situation, instead of just relying on fear. I cannot recommend Academy and their team enough. They love working with dogs, and there's nothing they aren't willing to tackle.
