Thank you so much Melissa and family for your review. Trace is a story often spoken of here at Acadia Canine Academy. Trace got me out of a driver's license suspension and arrest for doing 100 miles an hour on the NYS Thruway by a NYS Trooper. I was covered in blood and all that mattered was saving Trace's life. It was an exceptionally<br>awakening and rewarding experience that I will never forget.

Yes, this client did not follow my suggestion probably more than 3 years ago of getting their GSD on Prozac. That dog was seriously troubled by genetically weak nerves and was absolutely a candidate for said medicine. Their veterinarian was a close-minded, arrogant person when I spoke to her, to the point of me withdrawing 5 of my dogs from their practice. I asked whether she knew this certain GSD and that it was a very troubled dog that I have trained and that it was my recommendation that the dog be put on Prozac. Her response to me, was that I could discuss that with her when I have my degree from Cornell University with arrogance. For this client, to call me years afterwards for help when they did not help their dog, I would not entertain the conversation. They allowed that dog to suffer for more than 3 years based upon a veterinarian that "practices" veterinary medicine. I don't practice dog training, I do it with confidence from accomplishment of decades of experience. I studied for decades dogs that have the malady of genetically weak nerves and/or trauma. I have read enumerous studies and reports of various veterinary colleges, and experienced thousands of dogs through training. I have never met a dog owner that was happy with their veterinarian. They are horrible price gougers that prey on our love for our dogs. Now, to address this coward of a man who put up the negative review. You are a coward hidden under your overly muscular physique hidden behind a keyboard without an ounce of courage to call me and discuss what I said to your wife. I am sure she exaggerated because she felt I hurt her feelings. I am sure that I was not arrogant or disrespectful, just curt because I was not going to give of myself to anyone that put their dog through unnecessary suffering.

Eileen ends this review with, "finding him was a true blessing". It is reciprocal, it was and remains to be a true blessing of this family coming to us with their dog Blaze, a small Cocker Spaniel mix. Yes, Blaze will bite you if he does not know you. It does not make him a dog that is truly dangerous or aggressive. The members of this family are very happy with the services that I provided for them, and continue to be, but the joy that we have experienced being a success to them with Blaze, possibly exceeds their joy. It is always a wonderful thing to save a dog's life and save the owners sorrow. The members of this family that I have met I have truly come to respect and love as not just clients but as friends. It is amazing how life brings people into each other's lives, especially in this business of dog training because it is very emotional for the owners of their dogs and us. We have had to turn down three dogs in the past week for training that had bitten people that were large breed dogs. It's hard to accept that I cannot save all the dogs, but saving one is very significant to say the least. I am gifted with blessings every day as everyone else is if they are cognizant as I am. It is a true blessing to bring joy into peoples lives through the livelihood that we provide. Many thanks to the Klein family.and Blaze.
