We can’t say enough wonderful things about Gina and Fabian. We were struggling with our 7 month old Malamute. Malamute’s are known for being difficult to train and our boy was no exception. Being so big and powerful, he needed training far past our own ability. Gina and Fabian to the rescue! The transformation was shocking to us. BooBoo has very good manners now. We feel confident to take him anywhere and around anyone. Not only are they exceptional trainers, but they are very kind people. My wife and I had to deal with a major medical issue that suddenly came up towards the end of our training. Gina and Fabian were very accommodating and worked around our hectic and always changing schedule to finish our training. We were very impressed with the whole experience. In January 2021, I adopted the sweetest GSP mix from a rescue group who rescued this pup from the streets of Miami. All I knew about her is she was approximately 3 years old, her skin and coat were in terrible condition, she had at least one litter of puppies and was extremely timid. Her foster family did an amazing job of nurturing her back to health, but even after being with this family for several months, she was still very timid and withdrawn, with obedience issues. I knew I wanted her to get training, but I didn’t know if I should bring her into our family home right away or send her straight away to be trained. After speaking with Gina, she assured me that with all the baggage MJ was carrying from her time on the on the street, to being in a shelter and foster care, that it was best to bring her to training immediately before more baggage was added to her that would need to be untaught. 
I had MJ one day before bringing her into Applied Canine Concepts. Not having a bond or real history with MJ, it was hard to know what needed to be worked on, but I knew I wanted the basic obedience and was hoping for some added confidence to be installed. After 3 weeks of training, MJ was ready to come home and acclimate to her new surroundings. This was difficult for both of us, as we had not previous bonded, but Fabian was very clear that she would bond once she knew the same rules that applied at training would apply at home. Within days of following the program to the best of my ability, she bonded right away. Now 4 months later, while continuing to work her training every day, she is becoming more and more comfortable and the “happy dog” inside her is coming out! She knows the rules put in place and installed by Fabian and Gina are what are ultimately going to keep her safe, secure and HAPPY. Fabian and Gina do an amazing job evaluating, and attending to the needs of each dog and owner that comes into their care. They will continue to help and guide you long after your dogs time there is over, offering instruction for troublesome issues that may arise. They are not just training your dog, they are educating and training you too; giving you the tools you need to build security and harmony so you and your pup can, “live your best life” …TOGETHER!
