Adventure Unleashed Dog Training

Puppy owners make sure you know what you are looking for in a “trainer” was very excited to hear about Unleashed Adventures being so close to my house to assist me in training my puppy. Unfortunately I was very mistaken, I paid $30 for a puppy evaluation that lasted 15 minutes. Very little interaction with my puppy and the trainer, not to mention there were two females there and one said nothing to me, my wife or our child. The other trainer ask us 3-4 questions and recommended puppy day care. Left there with a little hesitation I figured let’s give puppy day care an opportunity paid $45.00 only to find out my puppy likes to play with some dogs not all dogs. Male, Female not sure. My wife picked my puppy up the instructed grabbed him out of the kennel where all the dogs were, not One ☝️ dog was out playing. They walked my dog out the front door to hand him to my wife, his back had dried blood from a bump he had on his back, my wife ask how it got busted?? Answer was puppy play however he only played with two puppies due to his size. His back was never cleaned with water, they didn’t inform us on how they felt he was acting around other dogs. Very disappointed to pay $75.00 for a quick evaluation and a puppy that was very excited to come home. I am not sure his back didn’t get opened up forcing him back in the crate. The “trainers” recommended we do one on one training they offered a referral. I thought they puppy trained..... If your looking for your dog to do back flips this may be the place for you. Very bad experience for my wife and I. My buddy took his puppy there as well and never seen puppies outside of cages.

My puppy recently finished his second session of Day School and he has attended several Stay and Plays. We also plan to attend an upcoming session of Puppy Manners class. I can not tell you how helpful the ladies at Adventure Unleashed have been in helping me navigate raising a puppy. I noticed him retaining what he was being taught at school within the first week of him attending. The "at home" sessions were a Godsend in helping me transfer that learning over to home as well as in eliminating some unwanted behaviors. He has come so far in two sessions. I would HIGHLY recommend Adventure Unleashed to anyone with a new puppy who also wants to retain their sanity...even if my puppy now loves Abigail more than he loves me! :)
