Affordable Dog and Puppy Training

Trying to train an unfixed 6 month old Frenchie "Dipper" is a huge undertaking. Although we have trained our German Shepard, our Frenchie is a whole different challenge. It was taught to us that once he grows out of puppy and is fixed it will be easier. We were taught basic skills and other plus tricks that work for a dog with no snout and that is a little rambunctious. All in all it was a great refresher and to learn other new things. Instructor was very knowledgeable. Can't wait for the next class.

My dog and I have attended the first of the series of classes with Lisa. So far, so good! My dog can sit/stay now, and I am happy! Lisa really knows dogs. "Dog whisperer" came to mind while I watch her work with the dogs. Located off the main road, Lisa has a little paradise carved out in the woods. Plenty of covered seating while we watch and learn. There's lots of grass and trees to run and play after class. Next (intermediate) class we will be going in public places and earning Good Citizen awards. *hopefully

Lisa has two classes: a beginners' class and an intermediate (CGC) class. The beginners' class has more instruction whereas the intermediate class is quite unstructured and is what you make it. I enjoyed the beginners's class more, but it is pretty basic. Most of what is taught in the beginners' class can easily be taught at home, and YouTube videos I've seen hit on mostly all of the same points. Lisa is experience and can provide tips for specific problems. At the end of every class there is some play-time when all the dogs get to go off-leash and play with each other. The play-time was my favorite time in the class.
