Affordable Dog and Puppy Training

We just completed our beginner dog training course. I have to say Lisa is amazing. She knows her stuff and the right tools to teach us as dog parents on how to teach our dogs. Raven has grown go much in the past four weeks because Lisa gave us the proper tools to work with. She observed and showed us what we were doing right and wrong and it made a 100% difference. No matter how many videos we watch or how many books we read, it will never compare to Lisa's training . I recommend her 1000 times over. She also did a couple private visits with our other dog and her tools have helped us with him and he is making so much positive progress. Looking forward to the next classes she has to offer. Lisa has helped train us to truly incorporate our viszla into the family. They are some of the clingiest and most intense dogs there are. She helped us at the beginning setting up foundations in her puppy class. We knew she was the real deal from the beginning. My husband often referred this her as the “dog whisperer.” When our pup was six months old and we were overwhelmed, she came out for a private lesson. I was expecting her to whip the dog into shape but she gave Me the tools to be a better dog owner. Fast forward almost a year later when we needed more help to level up with our dog after his growth, she came to our home for a private training and successfully supported us once again. Her expert knowledge, ability to clearly problem solve issues with the owner and dog is incredible, and direct communication with modeling is truly spectacular. Every time she leaves our home, our dog is more settled with his role and we feel like more confident owners. We are able to keep our dog as a loved member of this family because Lisa has helped us “speak dog” to ensure boundaries are set in a healthy way for all, but that the dog is also being seen for the light they bring to the home and praised for that. She is a great balance of firm and warmth. Thank you for everything Lisa!!

You can tell right away that Lisa is ‘the’ right person to impart her knowledge of dogs, humans, and an approach to training which is easily understandable. As a person who hasn't ever adopted a rescue dog, I was immediately at ease because her approach to training fit with my goal for our dog. So many things to think about because you have no idea what their background is or what has happened to them. She can tell right away what your dog needs and what you need to do to give them what they need. My goal is to give our girl her best life and learn what I need to do to make that happen. I was smiling when I left because I remember something I was told once (by who I cant remember). That the hardest thing with training is training the handler!! Thank you Lisa
