I worked with Nicole and Michelle for about 6 months to train my dog as a therapy dog. He now accompanies me to work nearly daily in an office setting. We both learned a lot through one-on-one and group instruction. The training is thorough but we were able to move through it quite quickly because my dog has the right temperment and had good basic obedience to start with. Nicole and Michelle really helped me and my dog to strengthen our communication and confidence in working together as a team. We have absolutely loved Alaska Dog Works for our (now 2 yr old) female Malamute. Michele and Nicole have been so incredibly helpful not only with her, but with helping me stay on track with her training. We were in a pretty terrible situation after an awful incident with a neighbor’s dog and ADW has been there for us through it all! Our pup has gone through a 2 week board and train camp and we are completing more in person training to stay on top of our dog’s “problem” areas. We trust ADW whole heartedly with our pup and couldn’t feel more supported by them!
