My husband and I took our 6 month old German Sheperd dog to the basic obedience 8 week class here. I wish I had read some of the reviews prior to taking him here. There were way too many dogs in the class for the space the class is in. I felt like we were on top of each other for the exercises given in class. There was no 1:1 time for extra help in the class you had to come prior to class for that which didn't work with our work schedules. If i pay for a class I expect to get at least a little extra 1:1 time with the instructor in class to help with any issues we're having. Nope no time for that. The instructor Larry and his helper Josh were condescending and rude to the handlers. Not good customer service at all. There were one or two dogs that were aggressive to other dogs but those dogs were allowed to act out in class without being isolated or told to correct their dogs. The only positive training that this places does is to give treats and you better hope that you don't give that treat at the wrong time or you'll get yelled at. They also focus their training as if you are going to show your dog. Some of the stuff they were teaching us I didn't care if my dog knew how to do or not. I wanted him to behave on leash and listen to me. I could care less if he can walk between my legs or not. The price of the 8 wk class was really good which is why we chose this place but you get what you pay for. We're having better luck just doing our training on our own. This place is a waste of time and money. Would not recommend.

My wife recently took our German Short Haired pup to their class. I could not believe some of the stories I heard from the first class. They advertise positive training, but the training is far from it. The first exercise was puppy subordination. For those who don't know what that is, it is laying on top of your pup until the pup submits... showing dominance over your dog. This is an outdated teaching method that has been debunked by research, which the trainers have yet to look into and denied any suggestions in doing so. I was told there were several instances of puppies biting and becoming aggressive during this exercise while she was there. The model dog to show participants the exercises was even wearing a pinch collar, which tells you right from the get go- either the dog has not been taught how to loose leash walk or there's the possibility of the dog lunging. Please do yourself a favor and steer clear of these trainers and find a true positive trainer so you do not lose your dogs trust and you avoid the risk of either of you getting hurt! I highly recommend listening to Victoria Stilwell or Zak George if you're still curious.
