All Ears Training

James and Laska are a terrific team in helping my wife and I get going with our new dachshund puppy. As total dog novices, Molly is a much improved dog after 7 weekly training sessions. Laska is a real pro and had Molly following her instructions after 10 minutes - amazing. Not surprising, Laska’s bigger task was in training us what to do and not do. Glad to say, while not perfect, we’re much better dog owners than when she found us. We heartily recommend Allears (Laska and James) for this kind of task. We may well use them again if we get off track. They’re a delight to work with!

My experience with this company I thought would be good. My initial consultation with James first then Laska I thought I got across my issues. I have a small Iggy and his behavior or anything else is fine. It’s his inconsistency and letting me know when to go outside. He lets me know when to pee but he hardly poops outside. He uses the pads. Sometimes misses. I got this across to both of them. When Laska came she immediately started giving him treats and doing tricks. My dog is super intelligent and obedient. She suggested getting buttons that say commands then he gets a treat. Well I understand this my issue is not doing tricks! I understand confidence boosting but every single week! I had to keep asking her when I was feeding him what times the type of food I was giving him? At no time did she come in and say you need to do this or that? She’s the trainer? Only 3 weeks ago I received a print out of crating him and taking the pads away? Why didn’t she do this on the first visit. I bought a fabric octagon bed on Amazon. And she told me to leave him in here and there. Well he ate through the material and I had to throw it out. I finally purchased a metal crate and he did good in the beginning but actually peed and pooped 3 times. The last time she came she broke up the treats to play with him and he had diarrhea and threw up for 2 days. Iggys have sensitive stomachs I told her. She’s obviously not familiar with the breed. They are well known for being stubborn about trying to go outside. When it rains they won’t go out. I canceled my last appointment because at this time what else can she do? They offered more visits? But discounted? What? If you couldn’t help me in all the visits how are you going to help me with more? I messaged her husband and asked him to have her contact me nothing? I mean you have a business I’m a paying customer. By the way, my dog was trained prior, but I had back surgery due to cancer and had radiation and had to learn to walk again. So he regressed as I just made it to the door and let him pee on the grass. I had no other option. I signed a contract which I understand but they have a paragraph saying they are not responsible for misunderstanding? What? You didn’t guide me I had to ask questions and you ARE NOT DIRECT ENOUGH with clients remember you are coming in my HOME it’s your job to direct me. A total waste of money and time my dog does not bark, plays well with people and other animals hardly pulls on the leash and listens to me. He’s a sweetheart. I’m very disappointed in their approach to my training and lied to me. 1200 is a lot of money for someone who cannot work due to an illness and really not fair. I feel I was scammed. I didn’t receive paper instructions until January 31? Yet my first visit was December 14? Why waste my time all that time and not give me instructions why because you didn’t do your job in conveying to me the owner what I had to do? Clients beware they probably are good with other issues but definitely not training outside. There are tons of other trainers out there who actually walk you through the procedure. For me I got nothing until the end. Yes take my monies. I deserve a refund.

I am so incredibly thankful we were told about All Ears Training! Our crazy boxer puppy, Romy, needed training and some manners :) James was great and went over the whole program and answered all of my questions and concerns and even asked questions I didn’t think to ask. We went over behaviors I saw in Romy and what should be addressed on top of the type of training she needed. Laska came to meet Romy and became her best friend! She is amazing at what she does. She is kind and patient and so loving and got Romy doing the things asked of her. You can tell she has been doing this for a long time and loves what she does because Romy was so responsive working with her. Not only does she work with your pup, she works with you. She explains what she is doing and why and shows you how to carry out the commands. She sends you an email with homework, as she calls it, going over what was worked on that day so you have it and can continue working with your pup. If you have ANY questions, she offers her expertise and if she is not sure, she finds you an answer ASAP. It was all gentle training with amazing results..real results. I can’t thank All Ears enough and would/ will recommend them to anyone looking for training.
