American K-9 Academy

I’m happy to leave a glowing review for Liz and the rest of the staff at American K-9 Academy! I have been bringing Obi, my five-year-old golden retriever, to American K-9 Academy for more than three years, and I couldn’t be happier with the care he receives. I always feel comfortable dropping him off for daycare, and Obi is just as happy to be there! He starts getting excited as soon as we approach the location, and as much as I’d like to think he misses me while he’s there, I’m not sure he does! That said, he is always excited to see me and jumps right into the car when I pick him up. Liz and the entire staff have always been kind, helpful, and incredibly accommodating. They are quick to respond to questions, provide updates when needed or requested, and have happily sent me pictures of Obi while he is there. Their prices are also very reasonable for the quality care they provide. I live in East Lyme, Connecticut, and there are plenty of dog daycares that would be closer and more convenient. That said, I will gladly continue making the 30-minute drive to American K-9 Academy where I know Obi receives plenty of playtime, rest, water, affection, and socialization. I also trust that if I ever had a question or concern, the staff would listen and do everything they could to help. I highly recommend American K-9 Academy to anyone looking for a safe and caring place for their dog, whether you need daycare while you’re at work, want a free weekend, or need overnight boarding. I have left Obi with them for as long as 10 days while away on a family vacation, and I will happily continue doing so!
