I could never truly sum up in words how life changing our experience with American K9 has been, nor could I ever fully express our gratitude! Our number one goal going into this training experience was to help our anxious lab/border collie mix, Loki, gain confidence and learn to live life to the fullest -whatever that best looked like for him. Natalie was our trainer and she went so far above and beyond to help us accomplish that goal and then some. She did an amazing job tailoring a training plan that fit Loki’s unique needs and gave us all the coaching and tools that we needed to help Loki succeed and maintain his training. Natalie helped solidify Loki's manners, improved his focus, boosted his confidence, taught him how to settle and most importantly – left his goofy, fun-loving personality intact. Natalie truly understands dogs and it is clear that she pours her heart into her work. Your pup will not only be well cared for but truly loved and respected when they are with her (and the rest of the American K9 team).

We had the most incredible experience with Natalie during our golden retriever’s two-week board and train program! From the very beginning, she was professional, communicative, and clearly passionate about what she does. Our golden can be energetic and easily distracted (as most are!), but Natalie was absolutely fabulous with him. She was patient, consistent, and truly took the time to understand his personality and tailor the training to his needs. The transformation in just two weeks was amazing — his leash manners, impulse control, and overall responsiveness improved beyond what we expected. What really stood out was how much she cared. We received regular updates, photos, and progress reports, which gave us so much peace of mind while he was away. It was clear he wasn’t just being trained — he was being loved and well cared for. When we brought him home, Natalie made sure we felt confident continuing the training ourselves. She explained everything clearly and set us up for long-term success. If you’re looking for a knowledgeable, trustworthy, and genuinely kind dog trainer, we cannot recommend Natalie highly enough. She exceeded every expectation, and we are so grateful for the positive impact she’s had on our sweet boy!
