AmericanK9 Dog Training, LLC

This is a long overdue, but well-deserved, five star, 11/10, two thumbs up!! Literally no notes except to gush about how positive our experience was. We used AmericanK9, LLC for their Board and Train program, and could not have been more impressed with the results (shout out to Trainer Natalie!). We boarded our 13 month-old rescue while we travelled for a family vacation, and when we returned we had a calm, polite pup who was eager to show us everything she learned when we were away. The process started when we reached out to Krys and Morgan to schedule a consult. We were immediately impressed with the leadership, organization, and layout of the facility. With daily updates, follow up lessons, and the shining personalities of literally everyone on staff, this program offers everything you could possibly want and more. Natalie is an amazing trainer who very obviously cares about each of her clients and is very passionate about her work. We felt comfortable leaving our pup in her capable hands, and are looking forward to more training opportunities with her in the future. Natalie went above and beyond to create open communication with us while we were away (even with a time difference!), and was so attentive to our girl’s needs. Our follow-up lessons have afforded us the opportunity to see Natalie in action, and we can attest she is as patient with the humans as she is the dogs! We would recommend Natalie to anyone who is looking for a trainer who is calm, loving, disciplined, and experienced. Outside of the in person follow-up lessons, Natalie has made herself available to answer any questions we have and make suggestions to further her training and/or cement the lessons she’s already learned. We look forward to working with Natalie and AmericanK9, LLC again in the future!

Amazing Trainer! Nellie worked with Mina our rambunctious 11 month old German Shepherd. From the intake process to the 3 week board and train Nellie was wonderful explaining the schedule and keeping us in the loop by sending us photos and videos of Mina’s progress. I was amazed watching the videos. Mina was actually engaging with Nellie, listening and following her commands. When pick-up day arrived Nellie shared great techniques and thoroughly explained the training to us and we all agreed it is the people who need to be trained and the dog will follow. We learned so much about how we can do better and really appreciated Nellie’s knowledge and insights. She was very generous with her time. I highly recommend Nellie she is patient and kind and we felt like it was worth every penny. Teresa S.
