Angelic Paws Training and Boarding

This maybe a little late to be posting this.But as I was scrolling through & happened to see the reviews & id like to give my review.My husband & I took our dog there few mins ago & we weren't sure what to expect because we'd just paid quite a lot for training for our dog at Pet Smart & we're extremely disappointed with that.He didn't learn anything.Wasted money then saw post on her & we decided try again here.Even though we thought was pricey(at that time) being we were afraid of throwing away bunch of money for nothing.But we got daily pics which made us happy cuz we were extremely worried our dog away for 2wks.But when we picked him up we were amazed by his training.We took him for potty training & they taught him few other things too.Explained what to expect & how.So we're not disappointed n paying that money being he learned what we expected & more.

I just took my Dog for training at Angelic paws. When I got there I had to get my records sent to confirm my Dog was fully vaccinated! While I was waiting another dog came in and the girl at the desk told the woman who came in after me that her dog was not up to date on its vaccinations! The owner responded yeah I know I’m going to have it done! They took her darling Chocolate Lab and put it in the same area with all the other dogs!! I got upset and said what if that dog is sick. She told me no problem only if they nose to nose can my dog get sick! Left me unnerved (red flag #1). I was concerned but foolishly left my Dog. When we toured the facility I was told they were going to train 3 times, activities and a filmed training! I was told they send pictures of my dog in her sessions. 4 hours after I dropped her off I called because I hadn’t gotten any pictures! This was her first day and I was already concerned! They said oh we have to download them and I got concerned and asked to have owner call me (Red flag # 2).she calls me tells me I was sent pictures and is upset with me for calling and checking on my dog!!! (Red flag #3). That’s it 3 strikes I’m out of there! Both the owner and I agreed this is not the place my cherished animal and I wanted my money back! I went to pick my dog up and the owner said I’m sorry YOU had the wrong expectations! I expect my dog to be safe. I expect to be provided with what I was told would be provided before you took my $400 for 8 sessions! I told the owner her word was worthless! I never did get the pictures until after I picked my dog up! They did refund my money! The reviews say she is a good trainer but we will never know as I couldn’t get by how poorly things were run!! I talked to my Vet and she said it was wrong to allow the other dog in there before insuring it was fully up to date on vaccinations and my dog still could get sick but needed to follow my instincts and find another kennel!! I think the other owners should be aware at how lax they are with their own rules!!
