Ann is a fantastic trainer! Ann gave us private lessons that have been so packed of information that fit our dog's personal situation and needs. We're so lucky to have found Ann because she helped us learn how our dog sees the world and that our dog really can focus on us instead of detaching all of the time from us while on her leash. We had so much improvement on her leash walking from the first lesson. You can tell Ann has many years of professional experience and it shows in every conversation and lesson we have.

Absolutely recommend Ann Becnel Companion Dogs for dog training! Ann is incredibly knowledgeable and understanding and wants to set your pup up for success. We noticed a great shift in manners and behavior from our rescue dog after finishing training with her. Thank you, Ann!

We are huge fans of Ann and her pup training classes. We love that she offers them throughout the week/weekend as well as in both metairie and New Orleans. We have worked with our pittie (Nyeri) & GSP (Arnulfo) and are amazed at how much easier it has made these two to live with compared to our previous dearly departed pups. For both dogs we decided to sign up for additional classes after our first packages ended, they are just too much fun.

We’ve been working with Ann Becnel for nearly two years. We began with puppy kindergarten, moved through Canine Good Citizen certification, and continued with therapy dog tasks. Most recently, we have completed public access service dog training. Ann’s creativity and support have helped me gain a level of confidence with my dog that I never thought possible.

Wesley and Michael have enjoyed this training. Structured with many interesting and fun exercises. Have also enjoyed the interactions with other dogs and owners. Each hour is a playful challenge. Ann is great!
