Ann Becnel Companion Dogs

We engaged Ann to help us train our Labrador puppy. She is fabulous! She came in prepared and began with asking us about our most pressing issues to tackle during the session. She gave us great techniques, demonstrated them, and then allowed us to practice while delivering feedback. She is all about teaching us how to establish acceptable behavior while honoring our puppy’s personality. She also recommended other tools and interactive toys that we have been using with great success. We highly recommend Ann Becnel if you want to establish a healthy and happy relationship with your fur baby.

Ann is an incredible trainer! I can’t recommend her enough. She is kind and very patient, but firm and knowledgeable. I adopted my dog a year ago at a year old and she has had a rough past. We are both feeling much more confident and happy and have both made a ton of progress! The classes at St. Margret’s are great because of the friendly seniors & staff. My one and a half year-old Bernese Mountain Dog, Baschi, received his training from Ann. Being a veterinarian, and knowing that Baschi would grow up to be a very large dog, training was very important to me. He is now such a pleasure to be with, well socialized and well mannered. Ann develops lesson plans with games, and the dogs don’t even know they’re working because they’re having so much fun! He absolutely loved to go to school every week! He has now earned his Canine Good Citizen certificate, which has prepared him to start working as a therapy dog. Ann comes highly recommended! Thank you so much, Ann!
