I recently sent my dog, Louis, to Anvil K9 Dog Training, and I cannot express how happy I am with the results! From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this setting was a perfect fit. Jake is not only experienced and knowledgeable, but also has a genuine love for dogs that shines through in every interaction. He took the time to get to know Louis' personality and tailored the training methods to suit his needs. I was amazed at how quickly Louis picked up on the new commands & the updates and videos provided allowed me to feel involved in the progress. I wholeheartedly recommend Anvil K9 Training to anyone looking for a transformative training experience for their dog. We will definitely be back for boarding!
Jake came to my house and was very patient and had my Great Pyrenees walking on a leash for the first time in 30 minutes! He is truly amazing!

If you are looking for a dog trainer in Chattanooga, you have found your guy. We reached out to Jake because our dog was reactive to other dogs. We were tired of being stressed and anxious every time we took him out and had to pass another dog. He would bark, growl, and lunge at the other dogs. We had tried to train him on our own since we adopted him, but we had not made too much progress with his reactivity. With a baby on the way, we knew that we needed to get some help. Jake was confident that he could help Buck through his board & train program. In just 3 weeks, Jake was able to train Buck to be able to walk past other dogs without reacting. When we picked up Buck at the end of the training, we got to see him walk past numerous dogs like it was no big deal. It was like a miracle! We are now able to go on walks and hikes stress free knowing that Buck is not going to lose his mind. Buck also came back knowing how to heel off leash (this has been so fun), come when called no matter what is going on around him, and follow all basic commands well. Having a well trained dog has added so much joy to our lives (and Buck's). ☺️ As we have had questions or needed tips since Buck has been home, Jake has been very responsive and helpful.
