Jake did an amazing job training our dog, Buck. We tried our best with training before we brought him to Jake. He could listen to basic commands but had a hard time listening outside. The main reason we decided to bring him was because he had a lot of dog reactivity. ‘I can’t believe you let your dog out in public,’ said a stranger on the trails. Let’s just say it was embarrassing. After training, Buck can listen outside, has so much more freedom, and can walk near other dogs without reacting. Highly recommend Jake for dog training.

Jake was very patient and kind with my two year old Aussie doodle. Although my dog only weighs 28 pounds, he had been difficult for me to walk. With training and equipment, my dog has made great improvement.
Jake is very good with follow-up and has already visited us once with some reinforcement of training. I especially noticed during Jake’s visit that my dog was very affectionate with him and seemed very pleased to see his trainer again.
I would recommend Jake and his program to anyone without reservations. A job well done!

Jake trained my older parents most recent rescue - an adolescent German Shepherd named Fin Fin. Jake was very accommodating and was able to curtail the training to fit my parents needs. He sent regular updates and his follow has been excellent!

I cannot sing Jake’s praises highly enough!!! He took my two crazy frenchie puppies and masterfully crafted them into two well-behaved young ladies. They spent 3 weeks with Jake, during which I was given reports, videos and photos of their progress; the progress reports were reassuring and helped me KNOW that I had made the right decision sending the puppies for professional training! When the puppies came home, I could instantly tell that they were obviously controllable and attentive to commands. I intend to continue daily training sessions with my girls to ensure they never forget their manners. If you have any doubts about Jake’s training, please feel free to contact me!!

First, Jake knows what he is doing, his credentials are impressive. What we like is how much he loves dogs. He’s kind of a whisperer, and he is all ears with anything we struggle with between training sessions. Our knucklehead puppy loves him.
