April's K911 Academy

Not knowing what to expect, my dogs and I attended our first, ever, beginner class and I couldn't have been more pleased, and excited for the classes to come. It was an incredible experience to watch the change in my dogs the minute they met April. She captured every dogs attention and knew exactly how they'd respond to her before she even approached them. She respects dogs and shows the utmost compassion for them, especially for rescues with specific needs. She creates a safe and constructive environment for both the dog and owner which makes the entire experience enjoyable. I couldn't believe the amount of knowledge I gained after just one class. Saying it was well worth the money is a gross understatement. I look forward to our next beginners classes, and am seriously considering her advanced classes.

I've NEVER had aggression problems in the dogs I've had over the last 40 years, until this past year. We were so worried about his possible fate until we went to April's K911 Academy. In the very first session we watched our scared-aggressive dog turn into a happy, engaged dog. April gave us reasons for our dogs behavior and techniques to change it. She also took the time to really understand our specific problems and dialogued with us about all of it. We're excited to continue our work during her classes and social groups off and on-site. If you've found yourself with a grumpy, scared or aggressive dog, take them to April. She has a passion and love for this specific kind of unhappy dogs.🐕😊🐾

I highly recommend April!!!! We recently rescued an 8 yr old Bichon and our Shih Tzu absolutely hates him, he ges in a red zone when he so much as looks at him. It has been a very stressful situation. Luckily, I found April and she truly is knowledgeable, helpful, patient and effective. She has spent time with them and came over to assess the situation. The dogs were fearful because they could feel my anxiety and fear. April helped my dogs and I gain confidence. She showed me what mental tools I need to be able to help my doggies. They are slowly getting to be comfortable around each other. If it wasn’t for April my family and my dogs would still be suffering. April is always a phone call away. She is truly a dog whisperer!!!!
