Art of the Dog Canine Academy

Art of the Dog has been an immensely valuable resource for us. They didn't hesitate (as others in the area did) at taking on board and train for a young dog struggling with reactivity issues, and they worked wonders with him even before medication helped him be the sweet boy we could see under the fear. Now he's not only incredibly obedient, but thrilled to see his trainers every time we go back there for boarding. Love this place and will be using them for our future dogs, whether or not they have behavior issues!

Our 6m old shepherd/lab mix did the 3 week board and train. He came home in a calm headspace, routines well established, basic commands were well known and he knows them well. He was also well cared for while there- daily updates on training with pics and videos and daily updates on health with weight checks and appetite updates etc. He has Amber as a primary trainer and she loved on him daily which made it easier to leave him with them knowing he was loved and learning daily!

Huge shoutout and many thanks to Emily and Victoria! My puppy just completed their Board & Train obedience program, and our household is already noticeably calmer and easier to manage. When reactivity on walks started creeping in, I knew I needed help. They had already more than proven themselves with my other dog, so trusting them with my puppy was an easy decision. Now both dogs speak the same language, making life in a multi-dog household so much easier. Their training, communication, and lifetime support are exceptional. AOD strives to be the best, and in my experience, they absolutely are! As long as I have dogs, AOD will be my first call for training every time.
