A shout out to Asheville Dog Academy, especially to our trainer Anna! From the first day, Anna learned our dog Mila’s personality and behavior and Mila respected Anna and followed her commands. We did our homework at home and the difference was evident. Anna also provided guidance and recommendations that we continue to use every day, way after the training sessions. We were absolutely thrilled with the results from Rebecca's two at home training sessions with our one-year-old Golden Retriever, Blu! We really struggled with the constant leash pulling and his craziness both on and off the leash along with his jumping on us and other people. Rebecca provided us with the tools and guidance we needed to be successful with him.
The excessive jumping, the constant leash pulling are now under control thanks to Rebecca. Really appreciated how she clearly explained to both of us her methods and how to practice them on a daily basis with SUCCESS. The difference is night and day. Blu is now calm and a joy to walk . There is no more pulling, jumping or crazy behavior. Teaching us the proper way to use the e collar was also so helpful!!!!

We wanted so much for our home to be River’s forever home but after a few weeks we had reservations. One of my coworkers recommended Asheville Dog Academy. Our experience was nothing short of amazing. River’s trainer, Anna is so passionate in her work and it’s easy to see how much she cares. River loves her and would get so excited every time she went for training. I highly recommend Asheville Dog Academy. They truly can train any dog!!!!

We had Rebecca help us train our dog Brie and our only regret is that we didn't do it sooner. We can now take our previously reactive dog anywhere. This was only after 4 in home lessons! Brie is still a happy, active pup but she now knows when she can be her playful, active self and when she needs to be on her best behavior. We enjoy her even more and Brie enjoys the opportunity to go with us when she previously would have been left at home. We are so happy with this service!
