We did two rounds of training with Rebecca and would recommend her and Asheville Dog Academy over and over! We have a Rottweiler who went through the reactivity program because he would get overly excited whenever he saw other dogs, now we have him obsessed with playing with us and he's able to contain his excitement around other dogs 90% of the time. Training him is an ongoing thing but we have all the tools and resources we need from Rebecca to make sure he keeps going in the right direction. Our boy has made a complete 180 from day 1. The experience we went through and the amazing treatment they provided to our boy is something I would again with our future dogs.
I really enjoyed my experience with Asheville Dog Academy! Rebecca was fantastic with my German Shepard mix Ace during his reactivity training classes. He loved going to classes and improved so much even after just the first lesson. Now walks and trips to the park are so much more enjoyable for both of us!

We had such a fantastic experience with Asheville Dog Academy, especially with our trainer, Rebecca. She worked with our pup, Finley, and the difference has been incredible. Rebecca is patient, clear, and truly understands how to meet dogs (and their humans!) where they are. She gave us practical tools that actually work, and Finley absolutely adored her. The sessions were structured but never stressful, and we always felt supported and encouraged. We’ve come away with a much more confident, well-mannered pup and a much better understanding of how to communicate with him. If you’re looking for thoughtful, effective, and genuinely caring training, we can’t recommend Rebecca and Asheville Dog Academy enough!
Rebecca was so great with my reactive German Shepherd, Niko. He's been through a lot of different training methods, and this one stuck almost instantly. I'm so glad I found this place because it's given Niko a new lease on life. I can bring him in public around other dogs and people without having to worry. Highly recommend if you have a dog with serious behavior issues.
