Atlantic K9 Training LLC

We originally contacted Atlantic K9 Training to help us with our 4 year old Great Pyrnees mix, Reggie. Reggie is a very sweet girl, but she can be very territorial, reactive to other dogs on leash and overly excited when people come in our house. After talking with several members of the Atlantic K9 staff, we decided to move forward with the 2 week bootcamp training and the results have been AMAZING. We were a little worried about sending Reggie to training, but the staff members walked us through each step and we felt comfortable that Reggie would learn a lot, while still being able able to do things at home that she enjoys (like sleep on the couch). Reggie has learned so much and we've also learned so much as her owners on how to help her with certain behaviors. We can finally take her on walks with our two young kids without her pulling us or barking at distractions along the way. We never thought family and friends would come over without Reggie barking and jumping all over them, but we've been so happy to see how much her behavior has changed since training and how well she listens to us. Emmy made sure to keep us updated throughout the whole process and was great to work with during our training sessions after bootcamp. We couldn't be happier and would recommend Atlantic K9 to anyone who is looking for dog training!

We sent our dog Franklin to Atlantic K9 for a ten-day Boot Camp and could not be more thrilled with the results. He came back the same dog, just one that actually listens to us! We are all much happier, including the pup! Franklin now goes weekly for daycare and pulling in to the driveway tells us everything we need to know — he goes absolutely bananas. He’s so unbelievably excited to be there. The staff is excellent: tremendously friendly, and super communicative. Don’t let the pricing turn you off, it is more than worth it. The cost accurately reflects how much love and attention (not to mention high-quality training) that your dog will get. In fact, in our household we consider it a steal. Whether your dog is there for training or for doggy day care (where they reinforce the training—double bonus!) they send photos daily which capture just how wonderful the days are and how much the dogs enjoy it.

I brought my beagle in for the Bootcamp training when he was 7 years old. He went in with a trauma history leading to anxiety with being home alone as well as with other dogs(howling and lunging at), aggressive/ pulling on the leash during walks and running away in the woods for extended periods of time. I had tried other ways to help manage the behaviors, but the anxiety continued to drive bad behaviors. He deserved to feel better! We are almost a full year out of the bootcamp training and his quality of life has improved drastically! From the reduction in anxiety to his ability to be around other dogs to walking on leash to being off leash! When he starts to get wound up, he responds to verbal cues with minimal need for collar correction. I am so grateful for the training both Scout and I received, it exceeded my expectation and was worth every penny! Highly recommended!

I adopted a puppy at 6 weeks (i was told he was 8 weeks). My pup started to demonstrate aggressive behaviors. We had started a 6 week training course at a chain store but no results. After some research i decided to contact Atlantic k9. I spoke with. Jenny who went through all of the classes they offer and I decided to enroll my pup in the 2 week boot camp. We met with the trainer Jenny for an hour prior to boot camp and in just that hour both myself and my pup learned so much. I could have never imagined that after 2 short weeks of training my pup would be so well trained . I was amazed how well he listened and responded to my commands. The staff takes pictures daily so i got to see my pup while he was away and it looked like he was having so much fun. There is a follow up training session in a public setting where me and my pup were taught a few more things. The trainers are knowledgeable, engaging and really treat every dog like their own.
