B.A.R.K. Institute

I recently enrolled my 6-month-old puppy Maggie in the 4-week program at Bark Institute, and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the results. My girl started out lacking confidence, and her manners were non-existent—pulling on walks, jumping up on anyone who walked in the door, and struggling with basic obedience. I was hesitant about the use of an e-collar, but after understanding how it works and the trainer's guidance, I realized it’s the safest and most effective method for training. It’s not about punishment, but rather providing clear communication to my puppy, which has made a world of difference. The team at Bark Institute- Jess, Chloe and Jamie took the time to ensure she was comfortable and confident throughout the process. They have an app where daily photos and updates appeared along with weekly summaries. Now, she’s more well-behaved, calm, and responsive, and I feel so much more in control during walks and daily interactions. It’s also made my home a lot safer for both my puppy and my family. I honestly can’t recommend this place enough—they truly know how to transform a pup with patience, expertise, and a personalized approach. We can’t wait to be back for follow up trainings!

Jamie is a very experienced and knowledgeable dog trainer, and her institute has already gone above and beyond to help local shelter dogs prepare for peaceful, happy homes. Her hard work and professionalism shows through the institute. As an avid dog sports competitor myself, I recommend b.a.r.k. I have also worked with them in the process of assisting shelter dogs at risk for euthanasia- who are now settled in happy homes. Highly recommend!
