I have thoroughly enjoyed training here with my dog in the past several months. Simply knowing information is one thing, but having the experience and being able to break it down to truly understandable concepts and instruct others is an entirely different skill set, and that’s just one of many things that sets this place apart from other trainers. Chris, Misty, and everyone else are all incredibly talented at troubleshooting training issues, which I’m beyond grateful for. Chris has a very sharp eye for obedience troubleshooting, and my dog and I have progressed far beyond anything I’ve imagined we’d be able to do thanks to him. If you want to be pushed to be a better handler and learn from the best, this is where to go.

Chris and the entire staff at Backyard canine did a fantastic job. I have a Great Dane who was terrified of everything, 2.5 weeks with Chris she is exploring the world without dragging me with her. I can’t praise their care and concern for my dog. Thank you

Every session with Chris is productive, helpful and moves my dogs along, improving each and every time. I’m so grateful to Chris for the patience and grace despite my pups mischievous behavior. He is an amazing coach and he will get you to where you want to be. If you want to take your training to the next level, Chris is absolutely the trainer to reach out to.
