FirstBarkBefore training, Honey was very sweet but at the same time had reactivity issues with other dogs and people she did not know. Becca was so patient with her and by the end of the training, Becca was able to take her out in public with no problem.

Nick and Alec are awesome! Passionate and highly educated and experienced top tier extraordinary dog trainers. My 80# non socialized reactive German Shepherd rescue is a different dog after spending 6 weeks with Balanced K9 Academy. Additionally, they taught me how to maintain the training and expand on the basics. My dog is a more more confident, less reactive dog than before.

Took our Maverick to Balanced K9 Academy for a board and train session. He got to train with Becca and she made a huge difference in him. The training is progressing so well at home, Becca went over areas to work on and has checked in on him several times, she is awesome! We are thankful for the training, care, and love she showed him while he was there, she is good at what she does and she loved on him like he was her own. He will miss her but we are so excited to have our big boy home and we are loving the new manners and control he has now. If you know GSP’s then you know calm is not in their vocabulary but we are now seeing a side of him and saying wow I didn’t know he could do that, we so appreciate Becca for her knowledgeable training😊
The person I spoke with was knowledgeable and helpful as I compared rates for a special needs dog that our house sitter could not handle. While they were already booked for the dates I needed, I would definitely call them again.

We had a great experience with Nick at Balanced K9 Academy. We left our Australian Shepherd puppy, Navy, with him for a two week board-and-train program while we went out of town. We also did several classes before we left so that Navy would be comfortable. She LOVED it. She came home with a lot of new skills, but the best part was that we never had to worry about her while we were gone. Nick has also done a great job teaching us how to work with Navy at home so we can build on everything she’s learned. We are very happy with the progress she’s made and we would definitely recommend Nick and Balanced K9 Academy.
