Balanced K9 Academy

I adopted a 4yr old male German Shepherd that had high anxiety and I could not control (I am 74) 2 weeks for refresher training with Alec, a couple of hours of Alec training me and I have an INCREDIBLE dog. Alec is not only a phenomenal dog trainer, he has the patience of a Saint when it comes to explaining to the owner the psychology of the handling of your dog. I HIGHLY recommend these folks. Life is so much better with my very happy and well behaved dogs now!!!!

We did a 2 week session with our 4 mos old GSD and the follow-up session with Alec a couolenifnweeks later. Im Not gonna lie. I have had GSDs for probably 26 years now and thought I knew some stuff. I didn't know jack in the end lol. This was next level training and the training really ended up being more about me and my wife than the dog when it all shakes out. She received amazing full boarded training and it really helped get her on track for success very quickly. She's going back again at 8 mos of age and probably again later as she ages through some of her growth phases. Amazing training facility. Our pup gets really excited when she sees Alec and jusy truly enjoyed the work she put in. I cant say enough great things about the place.

Alec and Nick are truly the masters at their trade. I recently got a Australian Shepherd puppy and had to do some traveling for work. They recommended the puppy training/boarding program and what a night and day difference when I picked her u! Alec's expertise and love for dogs clearly shows when he broke down the training and how to continue progress when I picked her up. Will be using them for regular boarding and additional training sessions as required! I suggest you look no further and do the same!

I recently enrolled my Belgian Malinois, Draco, for the 2-week boarding camp, and cannot express how grateful I am for the transformation my dog has underwent! Alec, the trainer, provided me a detailed explanation and tips to ensure that I maintain what he learned during training. Overall, I had a great experience with Balanced K9 and am beyond grateful for the dedicated effort that was given to my dog!

Balanced K9 done an excellent job with our baby Bruno. From day one we didn't know if Bruno would be a good fit with anyone's program, because of his anxiety and aggression. But, Alex and the Balanced K9 Academy staff went above and beyond to correct all of Brunos' issues. When we would receive his progression video's, it just lifted our spirits, to see how much of an approvement he had made. We were first surprised to see Bruno do a turn around, but to just see his progress, made us exceptionally proud and happy to see him turn into a now obedient and happy pet...that we already had fell in love with, but now can truly enjoy our future together. We truly recommend Alex and the Balanced K9 Academy. They are truly professionals that done an excellent job with our fur baby!!!
