Balancing Paws Dog Training

We recently took our new 1 year old rescue pup Kenny to Balancing Paws for a 2 week boot camp training. He had been a stray and he lacked confidence when outside with pretty much everything. When we picked him up and took him for a walk next to a busy street we were amazed with his new found confidence! He had no recall either before he went to BP and now when we call him he comes running. We couldn't be happier. We are continuing with the group classes that come with the training to continue to keep learning. We actually found Yoni at BP over 11 years ago and our 2 pups then were trained there. We were always asked how we got our dogs to be so well behaved. As you can see from the photo the 12 year old still does place really well and now so does Kenny! Yoni, John and Jenna are outstanding.

Yoni and his Balancing Paws crew have been exceptional for my fur babies and family over the years. He helped my two pitties who were a year at the time. Their names were Blue and Zoey back in 2016. They were aggressive with eachother and I was pregnant with a little baby. He came and trained my two pitties. When my baby was due I decided to do boarding/training while I had to focus on becoming a mom and bringing a baby home. He worked exceptionally well with Blue and Zoey. He went above and beyond for them and it showed especially later in their lives. 🤗 I was able to share the best moments watching Blue and Zoey not only be amazing to my heart but they grew up so loving and special with my daughter too. Unfortunately they passed within a year apart due to health issues. Blue passed 2 years ago and Zoey girl passed in late June this year. I miss them dearly. With that heavy heart I decided to go to a rescue to help save at least one pup. I now have a rescue puppy that we recently boarded and put into training. Her name is Chloe. She turns 5 months October 7th. I can already see how the training with Yoni and Balancing Paws has made such an impact with this sweet new puppy and addition to our family. My dogs are my children and I don’t just trust anyone with my babies. Thank you Yoni and the whole Balancing Paws team for being apart of my babies learning and teaching them. I seriously love you guys. 🐶❤️

When I went with a friend to check out his services for their k9 who had over reactive aggression issues, 3 things became crystal clear. 1. I would never take my dog there, 2.the k9 that was being evaluated was fully ready to escape over his fence wall, on to a busy street and would have had I not been watching, 3.the compressed air can he uses for correction completely triggered my perfect dog at home to accidentally attack my hand (I ordered some to have for babysitting). That was a nightmare experience for me and my dog and caused the full stop with this place. I don't think the very expensive bootcamp and training methods he is sold on using are good. Lastly, the fact that the k9 is crate confined for 95% of the day was a full stop for me. I understand everyone is different and every k9 is different. I think everyone should really put themselves their dogs place before doing this to them. The training area is small and doesn't have a pool so the pictures are a misrepresentation.

Yoni and his team at Balancing Paws are absolutely incredible. Grizzly went from puppy-brain to being the most well behaved obedient boy in a matter of weeks, and he's happier than ever because he has more freedoms now. BP training also comes with a very well put together online curriculum so we have everything accessible for us to continue his trainings at home. Btw they were also very accommodating anytime I needed to adjust my schedule. Just good people overall, I highly recommend
