If you’re on the fence about choosing Balancing Paws, this review is for you. This is the best, easiest, fastest, and probably most affordable way to train your dog. We had worked with a different trainer before - but our dog kept pulling, being reactive to other dogs. When we asked this other trainer for help, we got more of the same advice that wasn’t working. I didn’t see a way out and thought that’s just how things would be. Then I found Balancing Paws through a friends recommendation. I was struck by the effectiveness of their methods. They understand dogs. Our dog walked perfectly on the leash within 5 minutes of the first session. She stopped jumping on us after the first session too. She’s no longer reactive to other dogs. Yoni, Jenna, and John are amazing. We started with private and group training for our 4-month-old puppy. After a good foundation, we sent him to boarding/training for 3 weeks and WOW the progress has been AMAZING. He is calmer and can be with my two young boys without running around stealing socks, toys, and snacks. He loves his 'place mat' which we can move around the house. Our walks improve every day. The weekend group training sessions (included with the bootcamp, which is a HUGE bonus) help both me and Kody stay on track while making progress as he continues to grow as a puppy. Have a 15 month lab and have been to several trainers over the last year for reactivity, started training at 9 weeks, with no progress. Obedience was fair but reactivity made it pointless. After just the 1st class there was a change for the better, and after several I now have a new dog, and really look forward to what ahead.Yoni balanced method and his approach to each dog as an individual is amazing.
