Balancing Paws Dog Training

Highly recommend! What a night and day difference we have seen with our dogs. We have done individual lessons, group lessons, and camp. Each one has exceeded our expectations. I love how they teach us the rationale behind what we are working on and how to reinforce it at home. Yoni and his team genuinely love dogs and it shows. This has only increased the bond with our pets and made it so fun to be out and about with them. Also, when guests visit our home, it’s enjoyable now instead of frustrating. No more incessant barking and being jumped on when you enter! Don’t worry- they still alert that someone is there (which is nice for safety), but once we acknowledge they are our friends, they are quiet and wait on their “place” to be greeted. Our dogs have such good manners! They are happier and so are we! If you’re on the fence, do it! Worth every penny!

We adopted a fear-based reactionary dog whose reaction was aggression towards other dogs and people. He also was hyper-fixated on just about everything: bikes, skateboards, birds, people with big hats, plastic bags and leaves blowing. We have some experience with dogs with behavioral issues so we were working with him several times a day and he was making some progress but he was still reacting aggressively if we couldn’t manage distance (and the reality is in a big urban area, you can’t always). We started doing Yoni’s online courses (he’s a friend of my husband), and they have helped tremendously. We had gotten him pretty good on a leash and within 2 weeks of doing the drills, he is almost perfect on a leash. We have also been able to work more specifically on his calmness in the house, so he can be calmer with an encounter. But a big tip from Yoni gave us a 180. Two implementations at the right moment have completely removed his aggressive reactions to other dogs. He has stayed calm when charged by off leash dogs, letting us handle the situation. It’s amazing! We are now working on his people interactions and has already started improving and we know Yoni and his team is there for us if we need any additional help. Can’t recommend him enough. You can tell he loves and understands dogs and working (yes its not magic, its alot of work), with him will get your dog to where you need them to be to have a fullfilling life TOGETHER

I cannot begin to explain how much I appreciate, Balancing Paws and Yoni, what they did for our Great Dane Bronco is priceless! We dropped him off for four weeks, and he came back a reform dog, but still his goofy self! We continue to train him every day, just like Yoni taught us, and it was worth every penny. 10/10 would recommend, every dog Ione will be returning to Balancing Paws! He doesn’t pull on the leash anymore, I don’t have to worry about him off leash, and he listens to all the commands! WORTH EVERY PENNY! Thank you Yoni!

We have a *very stubborn* dachshund. He's cute, but he's the most challenging dog we've ever had. I knew there was no way I'd be able to train this dog myself since he tested every ounce of my patience. While he was still very young, I started with Balancing Paws' online course, which was extremely helpful for learning the basics (along with tons of other information I didn't know—and he is not my first puppy/dog). Both my husband and I work really busy schedules, so we decided to send Blue to the 2 Week On-Leash Fundamentals board and train once he was a little older (7 months). Each week when we'd visit for our lesson we were so impressed with how much he'd learned and grown. He's learned boundaries and impulse control, which were non-existent before. He's much better in his crate/pen, too. And after an extra week, he's on his way to mastering many of his commands off-leash (with the help of the e-collar). We're excited to continue working with him now that he's home and to attend group classes. If you're looking for the best dog trainers in the Valley, look no further!
