We can’t say enough great things about Justin with Bark Busters! Our doxie, Muffin, has been extremely reactive toward other dogs on walks, causing stress for both her and us. She also gets anxious when guests arrive, often going after their feet. In just one visit, Justin helped us understand why she behaves this way and gave us incredibly valuable corrections. His method focuses on speaking the same language as our dogs so they can respect us and our boundaries as humans. Within an hour, we were able to walk around the block, encountering other dogs completely stress-free! I am so beyond grateful we found Justin and bark busters this year. My dogs, Sadie and Frankie, have struggled with fear aggression, boundaries, and resource guarding for the past 3-4 years. Justin from Bark Busters has changed our lives forever! Our puppy Ripley is a new and respectful dog thanks to him. We rescued Ripley at 3 months old and tried everything to help her learn and to listen to us, but nothing was really working. We decided to give Bark Busters a try and it has changed our lives forever. She was highly anxious when Justin first came in and within the course of one session and us repeating the training with her, she is a different dog. We can see Ripley for her true doggie self without all the barking, jumping, anxiety, crying and she's a great dog! We also learned how to keep her from harassing the cats. We had her on leash in the house before this training and now she freely roams the house without the unwanted bad behaviors we were dealing with. I found bark busters when I was at my wits end with my pup Coco. She is a Shepherd/lab mix and is sweet as can be but has a lot of very difficult behaviors. She is reactive, a jumper, a counter surfer, a chewer, a digger, a fence fighter, desperate for constant attention, and follows us everywhere. Even though she is sweet, she terrifies people when she barks because she looks like a Shepherd. I felt so helpless and based on my oldest dog I thought my only option was to send her to a board and train boot camp. Then I took to my good friend Google and found Bark Busters. After a phone consultation and a thorough review of the website I figured I would give it a shot! As an added bonus, my mom’s dog could be trained as well for only $100 more. We worked with James and he is amazing! He spent so much time with us just trying to understand our dogs and their behaviors at our first session. We saw results immediately! Coco can now walk on a leash without huge reactions. I had someone come to my door this week and she didn’t bark once. She isn’t jumping on us, hasn’t been counter surfing and is starting to understand our boundaries in the home. We shower her with praise when she does something well and she is eager to please! The beauty of this method is how easy it is. I was terrified of the thought of having homework, but with the Bark Busters’ method we are able to practice often and not even think of it as homework. Even my 9 year old son is able to correct our dogs! James is attentive to us and comes back whenever we have new behaviors or struggles. This training has been worth every penny. It feels like we can enjoy Coco and all her sweetness now that she understands her boundaries in the home! I highly recommend this training!

After a long search to find a trainer for our pup "Lou", we decided to contact Bark Busters and it was definitely the right decision. We needed some help with Lou with severe separation anxiety as well as overall behavior such as jumping on people, chewing and biting, and leash training. James met with us for an initial long training session and after that we could already see positive results. The follow-up sessions with James in person and through text have been so helpful and it is so reassuring to know that we can call James anytime with any concerns. The techniques that James offered are amazing and it was great to be able to see James work with Lou and then help coach us through the training methods as well. We have a ways to go with Lou but everyday we see improvement and are able to reinforce with proven methods that work! Thank you Bark Busters!
