I had joked about how my dog Rocket “does not play well with others”, but it was honestly a serious problem that impacted my life going forward. Rocket was aggressive with other dogs, wanted to chase cats and reacted negatively to people approaching “my space.” I thought the problem was my dog. I was so wrong. Our lives have significantly changed for the better since we started working with Justin. I’m skeptical about reviews that claim immediate results but we honestly saw improvement since his first visit. You know when someone points out something that seems so obvious after you see it but you were blind to it before then? Justin knows dogs. Justin knows people. His approach is positive which has worked wonders with my dog who is actually very sensitive. I’m actually the one who needed training and reinforcement and Justin has been there for us. The investment in a happier home from here on has been worth every dime. Thanks Justin. You are the best.

I can’t recommend Justin highly enough. I have a 10 month old male golden retriever, Dash (as well as a 13 year old sweet golden). At 8 months Dash turned into a terror. Good some of the time but had episodes of jumping on me, biting at me and not listening at all. My arms had huge bruises and I was nervous to play too much with him in case he got over-excited. In addition he got so excited when people came over he would jump and nip and not listen despite acing tons of obedience training. I was beside myself and not sure what to do. I found Justin on line. I was a little skeptical of the methods and also wanted to be sure the result wasn’t a scared nervous dog who behaved. After our first lesson and following Justin’s suggestions, Dash changed back to the sweet boy I knew he could be. The change is remarkable. No more jumping and biting, no tormenting my older dog. He is even learning to greet people calmly. I find myself giving him more love than ever before- because he is being sweet and good. He still has his crazy funny puppy energy but he and I are learning to control it. In addition, Justin has been very responsive- answering my texts and questions quickly, checking in if I don’t text an update. He has also been very sweet to my older dog- who can finally relax and happily chew on toys around Dash because Dash doesn’t steal them anymore or bite at him. Well worth every cent spent. And it has only been a week!

In two sessions Justin radically changed our lives. We have 3 dogs- a basset puppy and two older females. The dynamic hanged when the puppy came home and the two girls started fighting, enough to leave blood on the walls. We were scared for everyone’s safety and for what that meant for our family. Other trainers only gave us the option to rehome one of the girls. Justin was our last hope. And he delivered. With simple techniques Justin taught us to show leadership with the dogs, set boundaries, and to check any tension before it escalates. This alone has completely shifted the dynamic in our home. The dogs used to live at high alert, and now they can peacefully coexist in the same room. The second lesson we focused on managing our dog’s reactivity. Now that same dog that used to back flip with rage every time she saw other animals, hardly looks their way. We can all enjoy our time together now, without anyone getting stressed, ad most importantly our family can stay together. Justin gave us that.

Justin is the man! He helped me train my Doberman about 8 years ago, but more importantly Justin taught me how to communicate with her at a young age. She was my best friend and I could not have asked for a better bond/relationship. We just understood each other and were inseparable. Fast forward to now, I bought my kids a 4 month old Vizsla. I used the same communication that I learned from Justin to teach our Vizsla to become a hunting dog. This puppy is excelling rapidly at bird dog training and I have Justin to thank for teaching me to communicate which provided the best foundation for training. It is amazing how my time with Justin training my Doberman was easily applied to training our Vizsla for a completely different task. Justin is a dog communicator/translator. Once you learn how to communicate with your dog, training becomes easy for any application. I had to call Justin after 8 years to say thank you again.
