I could not be happier with Larry and Barkbusters. I worked with my parents to help train two Boston Terriers - one of which was a rescue situation and had clearly experienced trauma as a puppy before my parents got him. Behavior improved significantly in a short period of time with both dogs. What I really appreciate about Larry is how much extra time he spent with us to make sure we really knew how to "talk dog" with both Bostons. BarkBusters has a lifetime guarantee and Larry showed that with the time and dedication he spent with us. The other aspect I loved is the humane training of our dogs throughout - BarkBusters uses no choke or shock collars, your dogs are trained in a humane and loving way. I have a 6 month old sheepadoodle, who is well behaved but struggles with leash pulling so I contacted Larry at Bark Busters and our meeting lasted all of 5 minutes. The night before I got a reminder text saying: "Toy Reminder Bark Busters appointment tomorrow Tuesday at 1pm. Please have your dogs crated or put up when I arrive. This is so I can bring you upto speed on our system without distractions. Larry Rudginsky Bark Busters Greenville SC" Our dog has never been kenneled or "put up in a room" and I refuse to do that to her because it's her home, and offered to do the beginning of our meeting outside. When Larry came to the door the dog was upstairs, she peeked down the stairway but never came downstairs and we went right outside. Larry did not like that I wouldn't put the dog up, so the meeting did not continue. How are you a dog trainer and cant work around dogs? He said I'd be distracted by the dog while he was talking but I think worrying about her and her crying and trying to get out of a room would be more distracting to me. He did text me after saying "Toy Our system is based on setting boundaries and correcting your dog when she makes a mistake therefore it wouldn't a good fit for your needs.
