FirstBarkCambria was amazing. I did the two week board and train for my 4 year old lab who I adopted last year and needed to work on strengthening of his basic skills and incorporating new ones. Two weeks with Cambria was a great start and now we are continuing the work at home. Would highly recommend them!

This is a great training program & facility. Nicole has been wonderful, and her knowledge of training and animal behavior is vast. I chose this training facility based on their reviews & comparable price based on my needs. I have a 4mo. old English Labrador who loves to learn, but is a bit bossy when it comes to playing with others. I’ve been given great advice to help him have better manners when playing with friends his age. I would happily recommend BHV to anyone looking for quality training at a reasonable price

I rarely review. I felt I should make the time to review Michael and Barking Hound and give it the accolades they deserve. My Booboy will be two next month. He was a rescue at 6 months old, and is a "resource guarder". Michael has covered so much ground in the recent two sessions. He is training my family how to interact with our Booboy, and how to help him interact with the world and it has already brought so much more peace to our home. I love the fact that Michael comes to our environment to create "real world" situations so that we all know how to interact! Michael has also sent "follow-up" emails that give me/us a reference point so that our time together is very productive. I also love that Michael asks "what else?" to make sure we cover all the many behavior patterns, and prioritize those that need to be addressed first. Thank you Michael and Barking Hound! We adopted a rescue puppy, Piper, in October 2021, and signed up for Barking Hound Village’s puppy training package. This includes three private lessons and six group lessons. Our trainer, Nicole Richardson, is wonderful! She comes to our house for the private sessions. Piper loves her and she has given us so many useful tools and techniques for training. Nicole is so knowledgeable, she explains the why behind how dogs behave and how they respond. Everything is POSITIVE reinforcement and it WORKS! We just had our first group class…so much fun! I highly recommend Barking Hound Village and trainer Nicole. We plan to keep training with them beyond the puppy package since our experience has been so good. Looking forward to agility training as Piper gets older. If you want a positive reinforcement experience, choose Barking Hound Village!
Bibi was fantastic. We had her for both private and group sessions. She is very knowledgeable and we greatly benefitted from her expertise.
