All training sessions and facility visits are by APPOINTMENT ONLY.

Update: we have now taken 2 classes with Dan B and have learned so many focus game and tricks to help us with our goals of jumping and loose leash walking. We have continued to have great experience and appreciate Dan’s patience and perspective!!

Franklin graduated from Dan’s intermediate obedience class tonight. It got off to a rocky start six weeks ago. Franklin didn’t like Dan at first but he warmed up to him on week 2. Ever since then, they have been bffs. ❤️ Franklin still isn’t perfect, but he learned a lot and made great strides thanks to Dan.

I brought my rescue pup here for obedience classes. Dan is a knowledgeable trainer and adapts to each dog that is in the class. Small class sizes ensured that each dog is getting the personal attention they need! I had such a good experience that I started bringing my senior dog to enrichment classes with Sara. Another great experience with focus on balance and strengthening as well as plenty of love for all of the senior pups in class. I highly recommend Bear Down Dog Training!

We had a fantastic experience with Dan at Bear Down Dog Training! We brought our 5-month-old Golden Retriever, Sully, to Dan's puppy class, and we couldn't be happier with how it went.
Dan was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and encouraging throughout every class. He took the time to answer questions, offered practical suggestions that we could easily use at home, and made the training fun for both puppies and their owners. Based on Dan's interactions with all of the dogs in the class, you can tell that he truly loves what he does.
We were so impressed with Dan's approach that we immediately signed Sully up for the beginner obedience class with him. We can't wait to continue learning together!
Sully gives Dan two paws up! 🐾 Highly recommend Dan and Bear Down Dog Training to anyone looking for a positive, effective trainer.
