Bear Down Dog Training LLC

We’ve been working with Sara since my pup was just a few months old. We’ve done classes, pack walks, specialty classes, and day training. Sara has helped us address our anxiety and reactivity issues in addition to just having a great time in class and developing a deeper connection. I recommend everyone to her whether it’s for basic obedience classes or specific needs. She meets every pup where they’re at and tailors training to their needs.

I signed up my eight month old puppy for puppy preschool, and she unfortunately had an injury to her leg and was unable to attend training. I had reached out to Sara and asked for a refund due to not knowing the extent of my puppies healing and she was so great and super accommodating, and was such a light in a hard situation. Sara checked in on my puppy and shared kind words about my puppies healing. Seriously the most kind people and so awesome to work with highly recommend bear down dog training and I will 100% becoming here when my puppy is healed!

Bear Down Dog Training is amazing! The way Sarah and her team talks through the steps of training and adapts each session based on the needs of the dog helps me be better dog owner. They are great at pointing out different ways your dog is communicating through behaviors to better understand where they are at! The training classes are also lots of fun! Thor and I have built such a great bond because of these classes! It is such a great way to build a positive relationship with your fur pet.

We rescued our dog, who is high energy, demanding, impatient. These classes have been very helpful with it being affordable. We’ve consulted with other places being the same length of training for 4-5x the price. Once we brought her in we knew there’d be no way 1 (6 class) package with another company will be enough. She enjoys her classes, she’s SO excited when we pull up to the parking lot each time. Trainer Dan has helped sophia and us as new parents to a high energy pup navigate her. She’s improved immensely, and she’s the happiest doggie while improving. We also brought (bella white pit who’s deaf) in replacement when sophia sprained her ankle. She’s a good doggie but he helped us with more hand motions and new training in just one class. These classes are now a must in our lives. So happy we found this place!
