Becca The Dog Trainer

I had done a bunch of training with my dog, and then I had gone overseas, left him with my in-laws, and he lost it all it, as well as developed a few bad habits. This time when I went overseas again, I left him with Becca, and she completely transformed him into the bestest boy ever. He no longer has separation anxiety, he doesn’t pull in a leash, she got rid of his excitement around other dogs. Most importantly, she taught me, the human, how to keep it up, and how to correct if he slips. We can pass the PAT test with ease now. Thanks Becca!

Becca was amazing and provided awesome feedback in the form of messages and videos. This review is actually 4.5 stars versus only 4. My pup Ripley is from the Caribbean, and wasn't the best socialized as well as bullied/ abused by other dogs in the environment so she's always struggled with confidence. After her training with Becca, Ripley is better on leash walks, more confident on her walks, and even engages with people on the street where she would previously growl or cower. My only recommendation is despite Ripley not being highly trained, she was trained or had experience in sit, down, kennel, stay, and some off-leash items that I worked on. I think if we had a conversation about what commands she already knew, she could have worked on some other training. But in the same token, all of that training could have gone out the window being in a new environment. Additionally, when there was an outbreak of upper respiratory illness going around, Becca was proactive in notifying us and giving us the option to pick-up and have Ripley treated.

We cannot say enough about the good things Becca has done for our sweet, Kai. Becca was able to work with Kai and bring out the skills she knew were deep in there, making her much more sure of herself at home and when interacting with other dogs. Becca was always timely with updating us on Kai’s progress and providing us with strategies. Thank you, Becca, for bringing out the best in our girl and making day to day that much easier for us.

Cannot recommend Becca enough!!! After adopting my puppy, I wasn’t sure where to start with training. Becca assessed our needs and had a detailed conversation with me about what I was looking for in my dog’s skills. My dog came home from Becca’s training with confidence, manners, and a desire to learn! I couldn’t believe my eyes to see my dog behaving so well and listening so attentively to Becca after just a week of training. Becca not only trained my dog, but also trained ME and taught me the skills I would need at home to keep up my dogs skills. She created videos of herself training my dog, explaining what she was doing, so that I could watch them repeatedly & make sure I understood the how and why behind each new command. Now, months later, my dog is still an extremely well mannered pup and I totally attribute it to his time with Becca 😊
