Becca The Dog Trainer

Becca is such a gifted trainer and we’re so lucky we were able to have her train our pup, Rocky when he turned 1. We did a full 4-wk training and every week we received video updates of all the training/commands Rocky had learned. My husband and I know half the training is for us and Becca made sure to arm us with all of the info to help Rocky succeed. We’ve continued to work with Becca as Rocky has gotten older, including a two week refresher course and 1:1 sessions working through leash reactivity. Rocky has improved so much, to the point that we’ve been able to travel with him back to California multiple times. Becca is always so responsive when we have questions and we highly recommend working with her!!

My Cavalier, Colt, and I had the best experience with Becca as his trainer. I could not have been more pleased. I was a bit concerned that after a month of not being with me, Colt would be bonded to Becca and not me. When I picked him up after his month with Becca he was super excited to see me and yet waited for her to release him to greet me. That was a great sign to me that Colt had been trained very well. During his stay, I loved receiving his video progress reports. Her voice over about what she was doing and why and how Colt was responding were so helpful. I could not only see his progress, which I loved, but I could also see what I needed to be continuing to do for training after he returned home. Additionally, I really enjoyed receiving her written, continuing training instructions to take home with me. Do yourself and your dog a favor and get on Becca’s calendar sooner rather than later.

Last May we fell in love with and adopted a puppy who was fostered through Austin Pets Alive. We knew that, at 4 months old, he was already too young, too heavy and too strong for us. We were on the point of needing to surrender him back to APA when Becca was available to take him for training. He is absolutely the best, most well-trained and well-behaved dog we’ve ever had. He’s such a joy to us. I can’t recommend Becca highly enough. She’s absolutely wonderful.
