We had an exceptional experience, and results with Chris at Best By Farr. Our pup needed the board and train and it turned out very,very well. She understands what to do(and what we want her to do) and is much more confident and calm. However she is the same goofy, fun loving girl that we love. The follow up sessions with us are just as important as we needed to be “trained” on how to handle and give commands. We are extremely pleased with the results and would absolutely do this again!
Chris absolutely overhauled our Mars in the 3 week boarding/training. We got what we really needed and more so. Mars went from almost completely unmanageable on walks in his new downtown environment (we had to move him from a rural setting) to where we can confidently, safely, and easily handle him. Thank you, Chris!
Chris Farr was gentle but firm and directive with my lunging, barking, 84# rescue German Shepherd mix. After only 3 wks, she was a different dog, able to walk around people and dogs, and even little dogs who barked at her. I required a lot of training, too. It was a great experience.

We did the Puppy Preschool board-and-train program over the Thanksgiving holiday, and the overall experience was amazing! Chris’s communication from the very beginning was excellent, which made the setup process easy. He even gave us some homework to work on before training began. Drop-off was simple, and throughout the stay-and-train we received videos of our puppy excelling with her commands. When we picked her up, we had a follow-up session, as well as another one a week later. Both sessions were extremely helpful and important. Chris built a great foundation for our puppy, and my partner and I now feel confident working with her. We’re excited to continue building on the foundation he started.
