About Big Paws of the Ozarks
Big Paws of the Ozarks is a dog rescue and training facility located in Northwest Arkansas. We offer high-quality, individualized dog training services to the public. All proceeds from training support our rescue efforts where we rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome large breed dogs in our community. As a foster-based dog rescue, all of our dogs get to live in loving homes while awaiting their forever homes. Our physical location is used for our public dog training services and rescue operations.

his program is for the puppy owner who wants to give their puppy an amazing foundation of obedience for years to come! We encourage puppies to begin training after they've received at least 1 round of their puppy shots (around 8 weeks).

Big Paws is a wonderful dog rescue! While they specialize in big dogs, they often have smaller and medium dogs as well. The people who work there are amazing, and they truly care about helping dogs. When we adopted our dog, we got a free training lesson to give us some basics and help build a solid foundation of structure and discipline. They checked in multiple times after we got our dog to make sure we were good.
We had a great experience adopting and training at Big Paws! Trainer was so knowledgeable and fun!
We were very happy with our dog boarding and training services. Marshall, our trainer, did a great job with our 5 month old pup. She came home much calmer, potty trained and able to perform many commands such as sit, come, place, etc. It was also super helpful for us to spend time at the end learning how to continue her training when she came home.
