Our dog training works. We don’t just teach obedience training, we build relationships with your pet. Any dog can thrive when given clear expectations and the opportunity to succeed. By setting firm but kind boundaries, we teach your dog how to make good decisions. Whether you're working on leash manners during a walk, puppy training with your kids, potty training in the home or simply want a well-behaved dog you can count on, we’re here to guide you. What is the best age for a dog to start training?
Dogs can learn at any age and we are happy to work with all of them. Typically our puppy training focuses on animals age 7 months - 2 years.

Have you ever met a dog that couldn't be trained?
After 20 years in the industry, there are only 3 dogs we remember as being particularly challenging, but we have never met a dog we couldn't help, nor an owner we couldn't give a better quality of life. Think of a person's personal fitness; the right trainer can help anyone learn new methods to improve their health and well being.

Are there any issues or behaviors you won't tackle?
No, we are honored to work with the toughest pets and on the most difficult issues. Typically there are three issues that most trainers will not, or cannot train- and we are happy to help you with any and all of them: 1) Aggression 2) Separation Anxiety 3) Involuntary Peeing If your pet has any of these issues, then look no further, you've come to the right place!

How long are training sessions?
Our intake session lasts 2-3 hours and our training sessions typically last 1 hour, but everything can be customized to fit the needs of you and your pet.

How do you know you can train MY dog?
The bulk of our customers aren't calling us for easy-peasy pets that are low maintenance. Most of our customers have tried the basics, watched the videos and read the books, but had no luck. We are thrilled to tell you that yes, we can train your pet. Our methods are effective and our results last. Our lessons are customized for every situation so they consistently provide great results for even the most challenging pet scenarios.

How long will training take?
Results will usually be seen on the first day and will continue to improve for weeks/months depending on the issue. Our methods have been refined over decades to deliver results that last long after we've parted ways.

Andrew worked with my dachshund, Maxwell, about three months ago. I wanted to wait to write my review until we could see how all of the advice ended up working. Before Andrew came, Maxwell would get aggressive (bite me and others) and wake me up multiple times during the night. After Andrew came and helped us, he no longer wakes me up at night and no longer gets aggressive. Andrew was extremely helpful and also sent an email reminding me of what we talked about for me to use in the future. I can't say enough how helpful he was after only ONE session! Thank you Andrew!
Andrew did an excellent job bringing my husband and myself onto the same page. Within 24 hours, I supported my spousal officer by denying attention (he forgot to). For the next hour both dogs were comfortable on the floor and not seeking attention. AMAZING! We called them to us and took them outside while we worked on a project. They did not pester us. Andrew is definitely the Dog Whisperer!
I was terrified when I purchased two baby Shih Tzu's last June. From the start Andrew helped my mom and I work with them to turn them into wonderful, well behaved family members. Finally a dog trainer that listens. After meeting Andrew for the initial session we signed up for his obedience training package. He listened to concerns about our rescue dog’s anxiety and explained how she needs confidence in us as her leaders. We started training in that same session and are already seeing some changes. I can’t wait for the next steps. As an added bonus he sends you notes from the sessions so you can continue to work with your dog between sessions.
