Highly recommend Black Diamond Dog Co! Previous trainers we worked with didn’t even come close to the results we got working with Joe. We signed our shepherd mix up for the 6 week leash walking class as we were struggling with leash pulling and reactive behavior towards other dogs that made it difficult to take him around in public. Not anymore! We can confidently take him places and have seen an improvement in his overall behavior and obedience. Thanks Joe!

I can’t recommend Joe enough. After having multiple dog trainers that didn’t really suit the needs of my dog, Joe was able to guide my training to fit my needs and my dogs. My dog Nala spent a week with Joe in his e-collar boarding program, and I’m not joking when I say that it changed my life. Before doing this training, my dog frequently ran away, and had no motivation to come back. She is so smart, but she knew what she could get away with. I had reached my breaking point when I decided to seek out e-collar training. And I am so glad I did. I can confidently walk with my dog off-leash, she listens and respects me, and my stress level has gone down significantly. Working with Joe was amazing. Very smooth and easy transition to drop her off and pick her up. The program is straightforward, and is really easy to use the e-collar remote. He sent me photos of my dog while he had her, and she looked so happy! If you’re thinking about working with Joe, it’s a no-brainer. I cannot recommend Joe enough! Joe taught me ways to manage my ACD Goose and got me started on building manners for responsible public access. He explains how and why I need to do something in a way that’s easy to understand. I also appreciate his quick communication and his guidance on using tools correctly. When Goose and I first started working with Joe it was during puppy classes. I believe it really helped me read my dog, adapt accordingly and strengthen our relationship. Joe is transparent, professional, kind and patient. Plus, it’s hilarious watching him pull out different random objects in Home Depot to desensitize our dogs! Finding the right trainer for you is extremely important as it shapes the upcoming future with your dog. I couldn’t be happier with my decision of going to Joe. Goose is particularly difficult and this has made all the difference. I fully trust that he’s doing everything for our benefit and I look forward to any more training we do!
