I cannot say enough amazing things about BLUE STAR dog training facility! My little Yorkie, Butters, came in with big feelings in a tiny body — anxious, reactive, and nervous. After working with their incredible team, she came home like a completely transformed girl. They were patient, knowledgeable, and gave her the confidence and structure she needed. Her trainer Makenna explained what she was working on, and showed me how to continue everything at home. Now Butters is calmer, happier, and so much more well-behaved. Walks are easier, she listens better, and she just seems more at peace. I got back an upgraded Butters! If you’re looking for a place that truly cares and gets real results, this is it. Thank you for giving Butters the guidance she needed and giving me the calm, confident Yorkie I always knew she could be. Highly, highly recommend! 🐶✨

At one year old Oliver had learned the basic commands. We contracted with Blue Star to help us bring him to the next level. Our goal was consistent performance regardless of distractions. Ultimately we wanted to qualify him for the AKC Canine Good Citizen certification. We just concluded our final of eight private lessons (4 at Blue Star’s spacious facility and 4 off-site at a location of our choosing). We are thrilled by the results that Mekenna taught us to achieve. Our final lesson was mostly showing off for Mekenna to witness her A+ training accomplishments. Picture shows Oliver on his “place.” A command used when guests arrive or other times when we need him settled and not interfering with activities. Thank you Mekenna and Blue Star. You’re the best.
