FirstBarkBlue Star Training offers a variety of training programs. Bailey completed the four-week puppy day camp. Initially, Bailey was hesitant but she quickly warmed up to Mekenna. She learned how to walk wonderfully on a leash, along with other life long skills. Blue Star Training providing lessons to teach us how to continue training what the Bailey learned. Our dog recently finished her 4 week board and train with Blue Star and we cannot recommend them more! We also got a good price with our 4 week board and training as there was a sale. I had looked around/researched online before signing up with Blue Star, and their price was the best I had found along with very good reviews and local to us. We are very happy with the training and our happy doggo. The whole process was easy and straightforward: requesting information, to the phone consult, to the in-person consult with one of the trainers, to drop-off, mid-way train session, and end-of-program train session. Questions are always answered and someone gets back to you promptly. I did the in-person consult with McKenna and she answered all my questions along with asking me questions to better understand our dog, her personality, behaviors, and routine at home. And before drop-off, the Blue Star team answered more of my questions via text and email. They also make sure all the dogs are safe while with them by making sure all dogs are up to date on immunizations and you show proof of immunization status via a website; and they also ask you to have flea/tick treatment too before hand. The "campus" is very nice as well. A lot of nice amenities for your dog(s): a huge barn that is kept cool, lots of trees for shade, a "green area" for dogs to socialize and play, kennels that are inside. Everything was clean, well kept and maintained, nice equipment (dog beds, toys, etc). Both trainers we worked with are very nice, knowledgeable, care about their jobs and the dogs they are training, approachable. We enjoyed our sessions with Delaney and always took heart knowing our dog was in good hands. The change in our dog from before her training to now is wonderful and we feel equipped to keep our training going. We have loved our experience with Blue Star and will recommend them to everyone looking for dog training, boarding, etc. Don't hesitate to inquire about dog training with Blue Star!

Blue Star has been a fabulous experience for training our 16 month old standard poodle. MeKenna is our main trainer and Delaney assisted for some distraction exercises. We purchased both on site and at home training. The transition in our dog’s behavior has been amazing. We practice the exercises recommended and demonstrated and can see progress with every session. I recommend Blue Star to everyone I meet who is looking for a training resource.
