Bluegrass Dog Training

I drive over an hour from Northern Kentucky to take class with Arwen. She is very professional and has endless patience. My dog does not have any scent breeds in his genetics and he has absolutely no prey drive but he learned Barn Hunt. He probably only finds the rats because he would like them to come home and play with him but that’s ok. He and the rats had a great time and I’m sure we will be back for more classes. I love the positive training techniques and we both learned a lot. He loved every class and couldn’t wait to come back. Thanks Arwen!

Incident date: 2/1/2022 @ 8:30 PM. I was a bystander shopping at Krogers when I passed by and saw some ladies in full masks indoors training their dogs through the brightly lit windows. I thought it was interesting but continued to load my vehicle, I thought about going to the business later to inquire about my own dog. I noticed an elderly man standing by the window who seemed interested in the training as well. As I was about to leave, several uniformed police came aggressively at the older gentleman and began arguing with him to leave. I whipped out my phone to record the incident. I also spoke with the officers after the incident to confirm the events. The police had been called by the masked staff inside and requested the man be removed. The staff hadn't even bothered to ask him to leave. Apparently watching them through a huge brightly lit window in a public walkway was disturbing them. Go figure, a public business in a shopping center with large windows with no curtains feels its privacy is of utmost necessity... I digress, the police told the man he couldn't stand outside the business because it's somehow the private property of the people who are renting the business space. He stated that he was not inside the business and was merely outside watching them train the dogs. He was standing on the sidewalk, it's on film too! Anyways, the Lexington finest officers decided charging him with trespassing was the solution after speaking to the Bluegrass staff. They arrested the older gentleman... who happens to be a Marine Vet. I suppose this is how this business operates. Needless to say I will not be doing business here, nor will I recommend it to anyone. I will also be uploading the video of the incident. God bless America, home of the free.
