Bo Nose K9 Training, Daycare and Boarding

Our experience was in 2021, but I’ve thought about leaving this review every time there is a thunderstorm. We did our due diligence. We read reviews, we felt comfortable with our decision, and left our golden retriever there for training. While he was there, I had to reach out for and request videos as I had an uneasy feeling the day I dropped him off. When we picked him up, I immediately knew something was off. He was shedding an alarming amount—hair was literally falling off of him in a way we had never seen before and have never seen since, which made us feel he had been under significant stress. More concerning, when we arrived, he was outside in a kennel. I had not understood that this was how he would be housed. To this day, he has extreme anxiety around thunderstorms, rain, and bad weather—something he did not struggle with before his stay and something we have dealt with ever since. I obviously can’t say with certainty what happened while we weren’t there, or that every dog would have the same experience. I can only share what we observed before and after. If I could go back, I would never send our dog there. If you are considering boarding and training here, I would strongly encourage you to ask very specific questions about exactly where and how your dog will be housed, how much time they will spend outside, how weather and storms are handled, and how frequently you will receive meaningful updates. I wish we had known to ask those questions but with such a positive experience at a different place (out of state) with our other golden, I didn’t even fathom this outcome.

With full transparency - I am that crazy dog mom. Our two boys Homer (German Shepherd) and Pringle (corgi) are our babies, and finding somewhere that is trustworthy, safe and understanding of our boys’ challenges is everything to me. Insert Bo Nose! We moved to SWFL last year, and while I loved our old boarding place, Bo Nose has ruined any boarding facility for me! The attention to detail, health, safety and fun is off the charts in the best way possible. Every single employee we meet has met, interacted with, and gushes over our boys as if they are their own. Check-in is incredibly personal, with someone always there to review even the tiniest detail of our boys’ routines, etc. I’ve always received honest feedback and it’s a joy to see our boys love the staff even more each time. Crystal is meticulous - she reviews all vaccines and other requirements prior to accepting your reservation and is incredibly communicative with all questions or concerns. Bo Nose has something special - you feel the love they have for their pups everywhere in their facility. If you are looking for a boarding facility where you can relax knowing that your pups are safe, cared for, and loved - don’t bother looking at the rest - they are 110% the best! Thank you all so much for everything!

DO NOT USE!! Terrible customer service I do not recommend at all.Unless you enjoy her telling you what a bad owner you are then call. All owners need training they just don’t need to reprimanded from the first call. She has no manners or politeness or customer skills what so ever. She was my 3rd K9 trainer I called all were so sweet and understanding. This woman is cruel, wouldn’t take my dog there if she paid me. Do your research, there are very nice trainers out there. Call them instead.
