BTS K9 Dog Training and Boarding

This is a great place to have your dog trained – if not the best. I don’t think any other place could have done a better job with Molly. To explain: In Aril this year, my brother-in-law passed away and left us with the care of a 5-year old (63 pound) Catahoula mix named Molly. Molly was pretty much kept all her life in an apartment with no socialization. The dog only stepped foot outside to do its business. Also, every stranger coming into the apartment or approaching her was viewed by the dog as an intruder and was barked at with teeth fletching. Molly was not really an aggressive dog per se but really scared of strangers coming near her. Finally, after a few days living with me, the dog learned to trust me. However, Molly was a really stubborn dog that did not listen to me very well and could not be walked outside without heavy pulling on the leash and being scared of everything and everyone. Within 4 weeks at BTS K-9 the dog turned its demeanor completely around. It was not only trained to obey to heel and sit, but also to accept approaching strangers petting her. I am in awe over the change. I can now walk the dog outside and some of my dog loving neighbors are now able to pet her. She obeys my words and ignores dogs walking on the other side of the street. She even listens to me right away when I say “no” to her wanting to chase a squirrel. While she is still scarred of strangers approaching her too quickly, she obeys me and sits on command even without a treat. Molly is also a much happier dog now with less anxiety. With the tools I learned from the trainer at BTS K9 when I picked Molly up after 4 weeks, I believe Molly will continue to become less scared of the outside world and become more at ease around people she does not know. I believe BTS K-9 did wonders with her and I still can’t believe the change I see in her. It is now a joy to walk her and to train her. Thanks BTS K9 for the excellent job you did with Molly!
