Buck Wild Dog Training

Our experience with Buck Wild Dog Training was nothing short of fantastic, and I cannot recommend their services enough. Through them, we had private sessions and then also sent our dog to their board and train service to work on obedience and aggressive resource guarding. Our dog LOVED IT and came back much less anxious and with stronger and clearer boundaries. We had been to countless trainers who shared that we could not fix our dogs resource guarding issue and that there was no hope for our dogs behavior. Instead, Buck Wild Dog Training gave us help and confidence in our dog training. I specifically remember the relief my husband and I felt after we met them, it was like a weight was lifted off our shoulders. We finally felt like we could get some support. What sets Victoria and her team apart is their genuine passion for dogs and dedication to their well-being. She took the time to understand my dog's individual personality, tailoring her training methods to suit her needs. She does not have a "one size fits all" approach. Instead, she worked closely to learn the ins and outs of our dog and her behavior. During our private sessions, she helped us practice basic commands, obedience, and setting boundaries with our dog. This helped set the building blocks for future behavior intervention. During the board and train, Victoria and Chris worked tirelessly to support our dogs resources guarding issues and other obedience issues (crate training, jumping, behavior on walks etc). We received constant updates and notes on how the training was going. Then, we as the dogs owners now have clear expectation for what to do with our dog. Buck Wild constantly checks in with us to offer feedback and support. Again, we could not recommend this training company enough. This is a team of dedicated dog trainers who want to best support you and your dog.

Sending my dogs to Buckwild Dog Training was seriously one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. We are a military family with two reactive dogs who were on our way to Germany. Victoria worked magic with them. Our summer was filled with travel, craziness, and move preparation. Victoria and her team took amazing care of our two dogs so that we could focus on our move. Flash forward, we are in Germany, our dogs are now able to go for family walks, play with the kids at the park, and go for morning hikes in the woods. All while not losing their minds!!! These dogs are now the family members that I had always dreamed of. They are included in our everyday activities where, previously, our dogs had very small worlds due to their behaviors. I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with Buckwild. It was such a turning point and game changer for my family. I now have happy confident dogs that are truly thriving.

We just finished a 6 week session with Chris, one of the trainers at Buck Wild. Tula is an approximately 1 yr old pit mix we adopted from a rescue 6 months ago, and like so many rescues she was very sweet but also very excitable and very unsure of what appropriate behavior looks like. After a frustrating experience with another trainer we were referred to Buck Wild. Chris has taught us so much; how to walk, how to play (there is a right way to play, who knew!?), how to manage down time and so much more. And he does it in a way that's friendly, insightful and often amusing (we love his little philosophical sayings!). We are reaping the benefits of Chris's wisdom and patience every day and we look forward to working with Buck Wild more in the future.

Victoria and Savannah are amazing! We brought in a scared and anxious puppy and they were able to build up her confidence over the 12 weeks of training we had. Initially, we focused on how to be a good dog and progressed onto walking, recall, and more. We were never forced to use any training tools (like prong or e-collars) unless we felt they were absolutely necessary and they really worked towards training our puppy for what she needed, not just a generic training program.
