Buck Wild Dog Training

I cannot say enough good things about BuckWild, Victoria, and Chris. I took my dog Martha to them in May to start 1 on 1 sessions for help with over arousal issues and prey drive. Since then, Martha and I have both grown and learned so much. She spent most of her consultation trying to eat Victorias cat, but now can walk past all kinds of small animals without pulling or reacting and even redirects attention to me. She’s able to ignore distractions and settle herself down quickly after being aroused. We have truly achieved our training goals, but the biggest benefit I have seen is the vast improvement in the relationship between me and my dog. It’s like we are finally speaking the same language - BuckWild taught us how to play together where both of us can have fun and Martha respects my boundaries without hurting me in excitement. I see her growth in the house too - she is able to read my energy and settle herself with me, which was a real challenge before. Martha actually wants to listen to me now. We recently went on our first off-leash hike and thanks to the support of Victoria and Chris, it went AMAZING. I was able to hike without getting pulled or being anxious about her behavior, and Martha had a blast running and playing. I truly never thought that I would be able to do things like this with her and be confident that she would make good choices and listen to me. I am able to do the things I love with my dog I love just for fun, without stress. Without Victoria and Chris, we never would have gotten here. If you are willing to put in the time and work, they will be with you to support and guide every step of the way. They eased my anxieties, answered and anticipated my questions and listened to my concerns all without judgement and with both of their expertise. The financial and time investment is absolutely worth it for how much my relationship and life with Martha has improved. I am so grateful for the support and knowledge of Victoria and Chris and would recommend them to anyone looking for help with their dog, whether the issues seem big or small.

Victoria, Chris and Jen were wonderful taking care of my dog Zeus. They turned him into a well mannered "good boy". Zeus had some serious health issues that caused him to take multiple medication, some of which required him getting the through a needle twice a day, they took on his care with confidence, love and compassion for his special needs. I appreciate their attentiveness and kindness so much, I felt confident every time I dropped him off.

I can’t say enough good things about Victoria. She did a free evaluation for my very aggressive dog, Estrella, and right away I could see how much knowledge and patience she has (more then me, as my dog barked and lunged at her the whole evaluation!) she offered tips for me that i could start with right away and even tolerates my random sporadic questions on what to do and how to handle certain issues. Yes, training can seem expensive, but I’ve seen first-hand that it’s worth every bit of the time and energy she puts into each dog. I’m also a dog walker, and a lot of my clients use her too! I’ve seen the transformations with their dogs up close and personal. She treats every dog like an individual and really cares about helping them (and their owners) succeed. On top of that, she even works with rescues and runs a daycamp for those dogs that seem to have never ending energy! I bring some of my client's dogs there every week, and they always come home happy, tired, and fulfilled. She puts her heart and soul into this work, and it shows. If you’re looking for someone who truly cares and knows what they’re doing, I 100% recommend her.

My dogs S/Page are special. Buckwild taught my Sage to be a decent citizen and walk the streets like a civilized creature. Buckwild literally saved Page from a broken backed life in a junk yard in the Deep South. To say I owe them so much is an understatement. Victoria, Chris and Jen are patient beyond measure. They really truly care about everyone’s fur family members even when that fur child can’t figure out the obstacle course! They want to make your dogs’ lives better and by extension our lives better.
