Buck Wild Dog Training

I cannot say enough about Victoria (and the whole team). They helped when my late GSD had dietary issues and gave us extensive follow up information on brands, treats and food recs to keep him at a healthy weight with his EPI. And then we get to my chihuahua, Cannoli… The patience Buck Wild had with my 10lb fury was undeniable. I had taken her to 2 training places before. The first, when she was a puppy, and then another with her larger GSD brother. In that environment, the dogs around were too large and at times, aggressive to be around Cannoli. It was nice to have Buck Wild’s layout and classes in a smaller and sometimes one-on-one setting to put myself at ease with my pomchi. They stressed the importance of her reactions, despite her size, and helped me with ways to keep her feeling safe and at ease in social situations. After our sessions, Victoria was ALWAYS there to help, should an issue or question arise with my dogs. The care they show for dogs, even after completing their programs, trainings, etc. is second to none and just goes to show just how serious they take the care of your family. Their social media pages, both Instagram and TikTok are a wealth of knowledge, and a nice introduction to the type of care and expertise you’ll receive when working with them. Finally, I would dog sit for two dogs in Baltimore city and one of them was extremely reactive. After one of the dogs went after someone walking by, the owner set them up with a board and train at Buck wild, based on my recommendation. After the board and train was complete, the Owner has sent those dogs there anytime she is out of town, sometimes on a bi-monthly basis because her dogs THRIVE with Buck Wild. Her reactive dog can now be around other dogs and humans without worry and that is 100% based on the time Victoria and the rest of Buck Wild have dedicated to changing this dog’s behavior… and life.

The interactions that I’ve had with this facility have been nothing but professional. Personally, I have a few specific requests and not once was I looked at differently for them. My dog has specific needs and Buck Wild catered to every, single, one of them. My pooch arrived back home a different man’s. The smiles I get get out of my guy were worth the time apart with him. I’d recommend this type of care to anyone that is reading this post. Good luck to anyone who shops elsewhere.

As a first time dog owner, and as an adopter of two nervous rescue dogs, I needed some help in building my training “toolbox”. I bought a package of 1:1 sessions for each of my dogs (adopted almost one year apart from one another) to help determine how to best acclimate them to our home and teach them basic foundational training. My dogs are extremely different from one another, and they each needed their own customized and tailored approach to learning. Victoria was responsive, helpful, and engaged throughout our time together, and it’s clear that she cares immensely for my dogs and their success. Over the years, I’ve gone back to Buckwild for group sessions and doggie daycare - Victoria and Chris are some of the only people I’d trust to care for my dogs. Their new location in Baldwin is built with the utmost care and keeping of their clients and their training program in mind.
