Buck Wild Dog Training

If Mopsy could be with Victoria and Jen (and all of his friends with his mom aka me) for the rest of his life, I know he definitely would. I cannot express my gratitude enough for Victoria and her small but mighty team. Mopsy used to be this small fearful dog that was TERRIFIED of anyone and anything. Now, he is a more confident dog (will still be somewhat fearful due to his past life). He can play, go on walks, and learn that people aren’t that scary without barking the entire time. I am so glad I found Buck Wild and this experience was nothing but the best. We cannot wait to allow him to go back for boarding or day camps to play with his new friends. We are about to start the process with our second dog, and I know it’ll be worth the money and time. Thank you a million!!!

Victoria and the entire BuckWild team have been absolute rockstars when it came to helping with our shy and anxious rescue puppy, McKenzie! We initially sought out BuckWild for basic training because it was close-by and in the neighborhood. What we ended up getting was so much more! Victoria quickly identified the key issues that were holding McKenzie back, and really sought out ways to meet her where she was while also trying to push her forward and build her confidence in the city. BuckWild also provided us a safe, reliable space for boarding when we are away which McKenzie loves and we have peace of mind knowing that she is well tended to. The farm in the county is a wonderful training place for dogs, and they have great facilities for the pups. We are so grateful to Victoria, Jen and Chris for all their help with McKenzie and their continued support with her as she grows and develops new needs. BuckWild is truly a wonderful, multi-stop shop service run by great, honest people that truly care about their craft and love their trainees like their own. <3

Victoria did an outstanding job helping us with our aggressive, people-reactive 4-year old German Shepherd, Rex. When we first started private lessons with Victoria, Rex would aggressively bark and lunge at any stranger getting within 10 feet of him. Victoria provided us with the tools to correct Rex's reactivity and reward him for good behavior. After 5 lessons and countless hours doing our training "homework", Rex can now calmly hangout in the presence of strangers right next to him and even ride elevators with others with no signs of aggression. The tools we learned helped us improve Rex's behavior but have also strengthened our relationship with Rex as we've learned how to communicate with him and his needs better. It's important to note that dog training really is people training, and if you're expecting results with your dog, you will have to consistently do your training "homework". If you're ready and willing to put in the work, Victoria can absolutely help you completely change your dog for the better! Cannot recommend her enough!

Buck Wild Training completely changed the relationship I have with my dog! Victoria is so knowledgeable and comfortable in what she does and has taught me so much about dogs and training. She showed me how to better understand the ways my pup communicates with me, helping me to form a much stronger, trusting bond with him. My frenchie was extremely reactive around people and other dogs, territorial of his food and toys and thought he ruled my house. Now he listens when I talk, looks to me for direction, and I can take him just about everywhere I go. He is a lot more friendly and comfortable in new spaces and can even play in a group of multiple dogs.
